SW19th Child Development is getting ready to meet the new year with more energy and an even stronger commitment to offer our children and families the best services possible. We have started planning activities for our families with a strong focus on the importance of grandparent appreciation. In February, we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with an extra special touch. Our grandparents have been working diligently these past few months on a family tree-scrap book which they will present to their grandson/daughter at a special dinner to be held on Friday, February 13th. This effort has truly been a labor of love and will no doubt serve as a keepsake to be treasured for years to come. This event cannot be missed, it will certainly be quite heartwarming and an uplifting not only for our families, friends and guest, but also for the SW19th staff who work so very hard to anticipate our families every need. Our great friends at Wal-Mart, whose contribution has made this entire effort possible should also be acknowledged. Thanks so much for your support. Through their generosity we were able, not only to purchase the materials needed for the scrapbooks, and treat the grandparents to lunch, but we will also host the actual presentation dinner as mentioned above.
