AVANCE to College
Parents of young children, are you interested in experiencing college? Take the next step with AVANCE to College, a FREE program that empowers parents to pursue higher education at San Antonio College's Empowerment Center.
The AVANCE to College program builds on the foundation of our core Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP) to strengthen both immediate and long-term economic mobility for families. In partnership with local community colleges, AVANCE to College empowers caregivers—including expecting mothers, parents, extended family members, and foster families—to serve as their child’s first teacher at home, while also opening pathways to continued education and workforce development opportunities.
